A new study shows that flexible workplaces can reduce costs, boost labour productivity and lower absenteeism.
The study, conducted by the Nous Group on behalf of the Office of Prevention and Women’s Equality (OPWE), examined three different workplaces and reveals that flexible work has delivered a significant net saving each year for all three.
It found the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) saves $31 million a year due to flexible work, Mercy Health saves $23 million and Wannon Water saves $150,000.
