Thank you to everyone that came to Governance Institute’s Annual General Meeting on 3 May in Sydney. We had a big turnout this year and it was wonderful to meet some of our NSW members in person.
We had over 40 members in attendance (we ran out of seats at one point) which is a fantastic result. Thank you especially to the members that took the time to take part, and raise some good questions. This is indeed the essence of good governance, and what we are all about as an association.
We concluded the evening after closing the AGM with an excellent session from Aaron Patrick from The Australian Financial Review, who gave his candid insights into the federal election, as part of an informative Q&A session with CEO Megan Motto.
There is also a ‘news’ summary of the entire evening you can read here.
